A Fistful of Dollars

I read this over at Soob’s and thought of the movie A Fistful of Dollars, set in a border town in northern Mexico where Clint Eastwood’s character, a mercenary gunfighter often referred to as the Man with No Name, forms an alliance with the coffin maker Piripero. Due to an ongoing turf battle between two families, the Baxters and the Rojos, business is already good for Piripero but his market penetration rises exponentially when TMNN arrives. Piripero even helps TMNN escape the Rojos (in a coffin) when things turn rough for him. By the end of the film, with bodies stacking up, Piripero is rolling in his own fistful of gringo greenbacks. Life imitating art imitating life.
